But seriously: After everything that has been said by Donald Trump, from banning all members of a religious group from entering America to telling Blacks their lives are all about crime and poverty, pro-tip: This is not how you communicate with a group of people whose votes you are truing to win.

What’s sad is that Trump doesn’t recognize that his words against other groups matter. Typically those who are bigoted don’t just hate one group. It doesn’t matter that Trump has targeted Muslims and Mexican immigrants. Injustice anywhere and towards anyone is a threat to the justice of all Americans. Trump’s words as well as the way he has run his business in the past, is likely to hurt Republican efforts with all minority voters for decades.
So sad to watch a major political party lose its moral compass. At least some in the GOP have spoken up against Trump. More need to do the same.
